I'll choose this one over the other two packaging though i find all of them are just attractive...

This grand piano leaves a bit of nostalgia or deja vu in me cos it reminds me of my small piano toy which i used to play in my childhood...

Named Duren-Duren but it turned out to be Rolling Stone!

Well, i was getting all excited cos finally get to taste the 'so famous' durian flavour donut of the BIG APPLE at the Low Yat Plaza...

I was there to buy my sis a laptop so i took this rare opportunity to indulge myself with donuts...

even though i was on my diet... but i decided to break my diet just for the sake of Big Apple donuts... i have very sweet tooth :-)

I used to buy the Jco Donuts at the Pavillion cos it was very near my work place...

i did my online research on donuts and figured out that only Big Apple offers durian flavoured donut named 'Duren Duren' and it was one of their best sellers too...

So u can guess how trilled i was finally getting my hands dirty and sweet with 'Duren Duren'...

but TO MY DISMAY, the staff had instead misplaced the Rolling Stone donut (Cinnamon flavour) at the Duren Duren tray...

So i pointed my finger at the Duren Duren donuts and told the staff that i wanted two of them...

I only realized their mistake when i had my first big bite of it...No durian flavour... i could only taste disappointment... :-(

By then i had already left the Big Apple...

I did my research again this morning back in the office...

I downloaded the Big Apple Donuts Range picture from the net...

the two donuts may not differ much in its looks but i think the Big Apple' staffs should have been more careful as not to misplace their donuts again...

p.s. the Rolling Stone donut didn't taste good though, pls no offence here...

but their Go Nutz and Californian Almond donuts were real tasty...

I'll sure have them again someday when i'm off from my diet regime...

Kungfu Panda...

Finally, I have watched the Kungfu Panda after anticipating for it all this while...

Overall the movie was quite entertaining but

i guess i have put my expectation a bit too high for the film...

The story plot was predictable so not much of surprises in store for me...

However the Chinese elements or 'feel' in the movie was enlightening...

well, i do like 'Po' cos he is really cute n clumsy in his adorable way...

His belly was huge but i guess it was his belly that made him the real him...

To be frank, i kinda like his belly...

While watching the film, i couldn't stop thinking that 'Po' did resemble someone i know...

I know he wouldn't want to be compared with the panda physically...

He'll kill me for that...(just kidding!)

anyway, beneath his physically built of a panda or a 'Bear',

it is his kind heart that made me realized that he resembles 'Po', the LOVELY BEAR...

The best 'Bak Chang' i ever had

i had my best 'bak chang' last year while holidaying at Taipei...

It was served warm and the first bite really caught me off guard...

Cos i never thought that such a simple 'bak chang' could taste so GOOD!

While my sis can't resist the meatball soup...

We liked it so much that we went to search around for the shop again to satisfy our appetite b4 leaving Taipei...

p.s. however the service was quite bad cos very unfriendly... but the dumpling was real GOOD!
